The lake of Aureilhan/Mimizan has a surface of 320 hectares.
This lake is a remarkable floral haven housing more than 300 species of plants. In 2001, this promenade was ranked one of the most beautiful flower-filled sites in France.
It is a privileged location for the practice of water sports but also fishing where both amateurs and professionals can find what they are looking for (carp, pike, eel and other zander).
The lake of Biscarrosse is a natural freshwater lake surrounded by greenery, pines and beaches with fine sand where you can find swimming sites with a lifeguard presence as well as calm and clear water reaching 28°C in the summer.
The lake of Cazaux and Sanguinet is one of the largest lakes in the Landes: 5500 hectares including two beaches with facilities for the enjoyment of young and old.
On site, marinas and sailing schools, as well as various activities including fishing, pedalos, sailing, etc., making it a destination appreciated by holiday makers and water sports lovers.
